We encourage you to join the FIRST National Association of Maternity Homes. We have talked to numerous directors of maternity homes who are struggling and feel like they’re all alone. Many are not aware of nearby maternity homes or that there is a network of maternity homes across the United States and abroad. Now you don’t have to do it alone. Identification
Fellowship with other Maternity Homes in an International organization.

Charter Members (limited to 50) who provide an additional investment (either financial or through leadership) in the establishment of this international outreach receive a special plaque to honor their extraordinary efforts.

NAMH Member Logo
Using the NAMH logo on stationary and publications signifies to the member’s supporters and community that it is involved in the National Association of Maternity Homes.
National Directory of Maternity Homes
Member Maternity Homes have a free listing in this printed Directory and receive one complimentary copy. Non-members pay a flat fee for a listing and must purchase their own copy. This resource guide includes only Maternity Homes, their general information and a comprehensive list of services offered. A condensed version of the Directory is available free on the Internet to the general public. The printed Directory also contains advertisements from providers of care services for women in crisis and also providers of services related to operating a Maternity Home. This Directory is a vital resource to Crisis Pregnancy Centers, Adoption Agencies, Women’s Centers, Social Service Agencies, Crisis Hotlines, Doctors, and many others.
NAMH Model Development & Operating Manuals
Maternity Homes have an opportunity to provide input in the formation of these Manuals. Standards are developed for maternity homes’ board of directors, staff, fundraising, volunteers, and programs.
Development & Fund Raising Consulting Services
Assistance is offered to Maternity Homes in their efforts to expand their base of support in their own communities. Guidance is available in the areas of new donor acquisition, direct mail solicitation, and cultivation of donor relationships. Savings on fund-raising costs are available through group production rates administered by a professional agency.
Expansion Fund
The founder of the NAMH has a vision to establish maternity homes in under-served areas. To fulfill this vision the NAMH Office accepts applications for special assistance by individuals and/or organizations who wish to establish Maternity Homes in these areas.
Complimentary Subscription to “New Beginnings”
This monthly in-house newsletter features prayer requests, news about various Maternity Homes’ activities and accomplishments, testimonies, helpful tips for many areas, classified ads for employment opportunities, resources, upcoming meetings and events of interest, and much more.
Complimentary Subscription to “Executive Report”
This special quarterly publication, sent to the chief executive of every member Maternity Home, is filled with up-to-date information on operating a non-profit organization, and useful resources for both directors and staff members.

District Meetings & Training Schools
Each of the 9 Districts of the NAMH meet at least once a year for fellowship, seminars and business. Many also sponsor training events during the year to share and learn together in a training school atmosphere.
Consulting Services & Speakers Bureau
The staff of the NAMH and its network of professionals are available to members for advice, information and assistance in solving problems in their ministry. The cost of time away from the office for an on-site visit (if asked to do so) is borne by that ministry. Speakers are available for banquets, special events, fundraisers, etc. (costs borne by the ministry sponsoring the event).
Public Awareness Campaign
The NAMH Office provides promotional guidelines booklets, sample news releases, current national statistics, and promotional resources. Through the website of Hidden Choices and links on other websites people are made aware of NAMH’s Directory of Maternity Homes.
