The web site connects counseling, adoption, maternity homes, scholarship and other support agencies around the world and enables a woman to locate support in her geographical area.
We are advocates for young single moms to have the opportunity to obtain the personal and career skills, finances and education necessary to become flourishing adults.
Our organization has a global passion and vision to coordinate concentrated efforts to make a difference in the lives of young men and our children, the future of our world and saving lives.
About Our Founder
Rivers Teske is the Founder and President of Unplanned Parenting and Hidden Choices. For over twenty years, she has been a passionate visionary leader committed to networking humanitarian needs with businesses around the world to ensure the dignity of human life and traditional family values.
In 1997, a personal family crisis catapulted her into a new direction as she helped her eighteen-year-old daughter through an unplanned pregnancy. In the early days of seeking guidance, she discovered that support opportunities were limited, and a network connecting these opportunities did not exist. The vacuum in this critical need area motivated her to launch Unplanned Parenting.
As the Founding Director of the National Association of Maternity Homes, Mrs. Teske organizes summits and conferences to import expertise, experience and encouragement for maternity home and crisis pregnancy care providers. She is currently developing a Guideline for a Successful Maternity Residence that provides a comprehensive plan to open a maternity residence. As a gifted motivational speaker, she is available to share her passion, vision and personal story.
Mrs. Teske owned and operated a successful women's apparel business based in the Asia Pacific Rim. She is certified by the prestigious Protocol School of WashingtonŽ in business etiquette and international protocol and is a member of Entrepreneurial Women in Business, Women in Management and the World Trade Association. She has served on the executive boards for several non-profit organizations. Mrs. Teske is a graduate of Baylor University and is married to Reverend Paul Teske. They have three children and one grandchild.
